EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 12th day of June, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Matson, Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog, and the following were absent: None. Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8459 CONVERT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BOND GRANT FROM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TO LONG-TERM HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has recaptured the $216,000 from the Lincoln Glendenning site project; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has a dire need to rehabilitate existing apartment complexes; and WHEREAS, the complexes that would be targeted are occupied primarily by low and moderate income persons; and WHEREAS, Roseville would like to implement a low interest loan program to facilitate said rehabilitation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville formally requests a plan amendment from Ramsey County to allow the Community Block Grant funds to be converted from the Economic Development Program to a Long-term Housing Rehabilitation Program. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Matson, Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
