EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting on the City Council of the city of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on the twelfth day of June, 1989, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Rog Matson, Kehr, Cushman, and Johnson, and the following were absent: None. and Councilmembers CouncilmemberJohnson adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTIONS NO. 8460 RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT NOS. SS-W-P-ST-S9-10, ROSE PLACE AND P-ST-SS-W-S9-13, COUNTY ROAD C-2 Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the manager of said city, said bids were received on June 5, 1989, at 11:00 a.m. o'clock a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER AMOUNT Midwest Asphalt Corporation Ashbach Construction Ro-So Contracting C. S. McCrossan $101,128.00 $101,140.15 $108,014.00 $110,720.50 WHEREAS, it appears that Midwest Asphalt Corporation of Hopkins, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $101,128.00, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The mayor and manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Midwest Asphalt Corporation for $101,128.00 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the city council and on file in the office of the city manager. 2. The city manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
