<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />in said City on Monday, July 10, 1989, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Rog, and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, Matson, and <br />None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8467 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. P-85-20C <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No. P-85-20C of the <br />City of Roseville on all that property located along Cleveland Avenue <br />from West Perimeter Road to County Road B-2 by the installation of <br />bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage and <br />necessary appurtenances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the foregoing is in the area described in the legal notice <br />relating to the original hearing on the improvement and the resolution <br />relating thereto, and the contract price for such improvement is <br />$248,793.04 and the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in the <br />making of said improvements amounts to $75,664.09 so that the total cost <br />of the improvements will be $324,457.13, and of this cost the City will <br />pay $243,342.85 as its share of the cost. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The cost to be specifically assessed is hereby declared to be <br />$81,114.28. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager, together with the assistance of the City Public <br />Works Director, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be <br />specially assessed for such work against every assessable lot, <br />piece or parcel of land within the improvements affected, without <br />regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a <br />copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public <br />inspection. The City Manager may arrange for the assistance of <br />the Data Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the <br />preparation of the proposed assessment roll. <br />
