<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the city Hall <br />in said city on Monday, July 10, 1989, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Rog, and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, Matson, and <br />None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8474 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. M-P-87-20 <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No. M-P-87-20 of the <br />City of Roseville on all that property located along County Road B-2 <br />from Snelling Avenue to Fairview Avenue and along Fairview Avenue from <br />County Road B-2 to County Road B by the installation of traffic signals <br />and turn lanes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the foregoing is in the area described in the legal notice <br />relating to the original hearing on the improvement and the resolution <br />relating thereto, and the contract price for such improvement is <br />$653,320.91 and the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in the <br />making of said improvements amounts to $60,424.10 so that the total cost <br />of the improvements will be $713,745.01, and of this cost the City will <br />pay $124,005.90 as its share of the cost and Ramsey County will pay <br />$426,722.06 as its share of the cost. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the city of <br />Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The cost to be specifically assessed is hereby declared to be <br />$163,017.05. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager, together with the assistance of the City Public <br />Works Director, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be <br />specially assessed for such work against every assessable lot, <br />piece or parcel of land within the improvements affected, without <br />regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a <br />copy of such proposed assessment in his office for pUblic <br />inspection. The City Manager may arrange for the assistance of <br />the Data Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the <br />preparation of the proposed assessment roll. <br />
