EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, July 10, 1989, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Rog, and the following were absent: Kehr, Cushman, Johnson, Matson, and None. Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8475 RESOLUTION RELATING TO 1988 CONSOLIDATED IMPROVEMENT NO. P-88-02, NEIGHBORHOOD NO. 14 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No. P-88-02, Neighborhood No. 14 of the City of Roseville on all that property abutting Pascal Street from County Road C to Rambler Road, Talisman Curve from Pascal to Sheldon, and Sheldon Street from County Road C to Judith by the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the foregoing is in the area described in the legal notice relating to the original hearing on the consolidated improvement and the resolution relating thereto, and the contract price for such consolidated improvement is $1,144,346.16 and the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said consolidated improvements amounts to $271,296.70 so that the total cost of the consolidated improvements will be $1,415,642.86 and of this cost the city will pay $1,016,082.16 as its share of the cost. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: 1. The cost to be specifically assessed is hereby declared to be $399,560.70 for the 1988 consolidated improvements. 2. The City Manager, together with the assistance of the city Public Works Director, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the improvements affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. The City Manager may arrange for the assistance of the Data Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed assessment roll.
