Authorization to Seek Donations for Various 2012 City Functions and Events <br /> Pust moved, Johnson seconded, authorizing the City Manager or his designee to <br /> send letters requesting support from various community and civic groups and <br /> businesses for certain city functions and special events for 2012, as detailed in the <br /> Request for Council Action (RCA) dated January 9, 2012. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Pust; Willmus; Johnson; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> h. Approve Not Waiving Statutory Liability Limit <br /> Discussion included the type of claims under this liability limit; City Attorney <br /> Gaughan's clarification that this was related to personal injury class claims, with <br /> employee workers compensation cases having their own specific policy coverage; <br /> and whether current case law may impact future considerations. <br /> Pust moved, Johnson seconded, to NOT waive the Statutory Liability Limits as <br /> detailed in the Request for Council Action (RCA) dated January 9, 2012. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Pust; Willmus; Johnson; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Approve Annual City Sign Permits for 2012 <br /> Pust moved, Johnson seconded, approval of the 2012 sign permit for City uses <br /> and promotions as detailed in the 2012 Sign Summary in Attachment A to the <br /> RCA dates January 9, 2012. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Pust; Willmus; Johnson; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> j. Contract Renewal between City and HRA for Services <br /> Pust moved, Johnson seconded, authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to enter <br /> into contracts with the Roseville HRA for the City to provide fiscal services, ad- <br /> ministrative staff support and the services of the Community Development Direc- <br /> tor and Housing Program Manager; and charge the Roseville HRA $98,552.00 for <br /> those services. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Pust; Willmus; Johnson; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br />
