<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the city Hall <br />in said City on Monday, August 28, 1989, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, Matson, and <br />Rog, <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8492 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT NO. P-SW-89-16 <br />AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR UNDER <br />AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the the city council adopted the twenty-sixth <br />day of June, 1989, fixed a date for a council hearing on the proposed <br />improvement of Hamline Avenue from Larpenteur Avenue to County Road B by <br />street reconstruction and installation of pathway; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of <br />the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the tenth day <br />of July, 1989, and the continued hearings were held on the twenty-fourth <br />day of July, 1989, and on the twenty-eighth day of August, 1989, at <br />which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be <br />heard thereon, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the council <br />resolution adopted the twenty-eighth of August, 1989. <br /> <br />2. Maier Stewart, and Associates of st. Paul are hereby designated as <br />the engineer for this improvement. They shall prepare plans and <br />specifications for the making of such improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Rog and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Cushman, Matson, and Rog, <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: Kehr. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
