Persons could., of course, comment on the selection at that time also, The Commission will, then, be conducting a joint meeting for all Council and Commission members., the cable companies, and the public on March 25, 1982 at 7:00 p.m. at Parkview Jr. High. The ' Commission has requested that all individual City hearings be held prior to March 9th. At each of the City hearings, general public comment would be heard, however., a presentation would not be made by the cable companies. It is the Commission's understanding that cable company representatives will be present at these meetings to answer questions, Councilman Curley, the Commission representative has requested that March 8 1982 be established as the date for Roseville's hearing. P Council Action Requested: Motion establishing March 8., 1982 as the date to conduct a public hearing with respect to all proposals for a cable television franchise in Roseville. Note: The Commission has tentatively established April Ist as the date they will be making a recommendation on awarding the franchise. The hearing adopting an ordinance awarding the franchise would presumably be held ir-., early May.
