HEAD APPROVAL. <br />rTl[-ir <br />The City has been working with the property owneTs adjacent the West Snelling Frontage <br />Road, and the traffic signal on Snelling south of County Road B to improve the Frontage <br />Road for traffic safety.- It is almost impossiable -for any traffic going southbound on <br />Snelling Avenue to turn in near McDonald's and then use the Frontage Road to go north, <br />Inevitably;, the vehicle must cross over the center line and meet southbound tra'ffic <br />head-on, <br />When McDonald's and the doughnut shop were proposi- ng to have their land use changed t4 <br />provide for a chicken 'restaurant approximately a.year ago, the condition was included <br />that the Frontage Road be widened at that location, Similarly, when Arby's was in a <br />year ago to change their res.taurant., the building permit also required them to support <br />the widening of. the roadway, <br />Recommended Council Action: Adoption of a Resolution declaring the adequacy of a <br />petition for project P-82-6, and ordering the preparation <br />of a feasibility report® . <br />
