Additional Funds for Operation of North Suburban Cable Commission :.,::XETING 41 DATE: 3/8/82 DEPT. tAD APPROVAL, ZRONUM At its February 25, 1982 meeting, the North Suburban Cable' Commission moved to request that additional oper . at-Ing funds be made available to them from member cities. The requested additional contribution-is $1,000 per vote on the 'Commission. Roseville has 8 votes. This procedure is provided for in the Joint and Coo]�erative Agreement forming the Commission. The purpose of the additional contTibution will be for payment of the final attorney and consultant fees. These funds should be adequate to conclude the-business of the Commission. Any unused funds would be retuTned to the cities. In addition. all costs • the franchising process, whether funds are paid to the Commission or incurred directly by the City, will be reimbursed by the successful fTanchisee., Council Action Requested: Motion authorizing payment of an additional contribution in the amount of $8,000 to tho North Suburban Cable Commission.
