REVIEWED/ RECOMMENP <br />- - --%- <br />Mr. McCulloch owns an existing house at 525 Heinel Drive and <br />proposes to expand the house to the east and to the west,. Be- <br />cause Mr. McCulloch abuts Lake Owasso, he is governed by the <br />Shoreland Management Ordinance and must receive council approval <br />to obtain a bung permit. <br />The proposed expansion, as shown on the attached site plan, will <br />maintain a 198-foot setback from the lake, and legal setbacks <br />f rom both the side and f ront yard lines. No trees wil.1 be disturbei <br />by the construction, <br />The applicant does have an existing illegal 211 x 501 garage in his <br />front yard. He is requesting to maintain this garage until June 1, <br />1983, to allow him a storage space for building materials, At that <br />time, he has agreed to tear it down. The council may wish to attach <br />a condition to the building permit, requiring the removal of this <br />garage at that time + <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: A motion authorizing the issuance of a building <br />permit in accordance-with the Shoreland Zoning <br />Ordinance, with the following conons: <br />That the existing 211 x 50' garage in the <br />front yard must be removed by June 1, 19830 <br />
