V446P <br />SUBJECT: 1983-1987 Capital <br />FmProvemen't Pro Qram (CIP) <br />Attached is the revised and up4l�ated CIP for the years 1983-1987. <br />The program is submitted at this time -to receive tentative approvals of <br />policies and priorities, and not necessarily individual projects. The <br />projects listed for the 1983 program will potentially'be included in the <br />1983 budget. However, what is finally included in the budget will depend on <br />the levy limitation law, opeTating needs and other financial considerations. <br />The Council will be requested to formally approve the 5-year CIP after the <br />1983 budget has been adopted (in September).' <br />There is one new program (Opticom Systems) that has been included in the <br />5-year program for the first timeb HoweverA the Council PYeviously has <br />given general approval to the concept of the us'e of Opticom Systems. <br />This-program lays out potential specific installations over the -next <br />five years, <br />The remaining programs are of a continuing nature, and have been previously <br />reviewed by the Council. <br />Attachment <br />
