Date: January 30, 1981 <br />%e City Council <br />From: Jim Andre <br />Subj ect: On Sale Liluor Licensint <br />'wr <br />Attached is a copy of the memo provided the Council f or the <br />January 12, 1981 meeting and a letter from the city attorney <br />regarding the legality of the possible ordinance amendments <br />discussed in the memo, (the attorney's letter indicates there <br />are only two unissued licenses when in fact there are presently <br />four) <br />Another approach would be to not amend the ordinance and if the <br />Council is still concerned when only one or two licenses are <br />available an ordinance amendment could be adopted. It is recommended <br />that thi's approach be followed. <br />
