As the Staff, however, we do not have authority
si
to release them from the obligation.
The problem with the team track is that on fairly frequent occassions,
trucks (many times semi-trucks) will unload from box cars spotted on the
siding. These trucks sometimes back over the curb on County Road C
itself and frequently park on portions of the area where the sidewalk
would normally be constructed.
There is also the question of whether a -sidewalk should be built on this
side of county Road C. As you know, the County and theh City plan to - extend a hikeway along the north side of colLinty Rte '-3-d C (continulng the
pathway already completed on portions o the right -Of -way to the east)
A portion of this system, of course, pa-ssps directly in front of City Hall.
3* The pre rience and use of the teem
01,-)n the con.strilcti( .1m track itself, constitute-s a problem
_)n <-)r tfie- sidewalk a.1(_)n(-%- Tbis team track is
the only one in the area,, cIT'd F;023-vos s-upplierst contractors, and others
in Foos evillo cirl(I Tarts of surround irig communjtj(!,,:;.
