We interpret <br />the Ordinance that each development is allowed only one <br />sign which may be either a wall sign or be free standing. <br />Tberefore, the proon could be clarified as follows* <br />a <br />Thoroughfares 4� or 100 square feet <br />Expressways 5% or 100 square feet <br />Freeways 7% or 150 square feet <br />The pro bl.em with tjjjr_ <br />ion as it applies to <br />shopping conters is that for sniall sotre fronts., -the <br />four or five percetit does, not allow a large enough sign <br />while 100 square Feet is excessive.
