Owasso Boulevard <br />The Minor Variance Board at its June 4. meeting recommended approval of John Poatels. <br />a 0 <br />request for minor variance to side and front yard setback at 341 South Owasso <br />Boulevardd <br />The applicant has an existing garage which extends to within approximately two feet <br />of the east side yard property line and adjacent to the south front yard property <br />line. The garage is a non-conforming use because it does not comply with the set <br />backs required in today's ordinance. The applicant proposes to construct an <br />addition connecting the existing garage to the existing home and, therefore, must <br />seek a variance for the garage location before the addition can be constructed., <br />The existing home and proposed addition are I-ocated twenty-five feet from the high <br />water mark of the lake, The shoreland management ordinance requires a setback of <br />seventy-five feet and, therefore, a variance 1 0 s being requested. <br />Mr. Poate has reviewed hi's proposed addition with the City staff and Mr. Dahlgrel <br />in several occasiolis. <br />Attached is a site plan of the property and a map showing the property involve" <br />and the consenting property owner.
