I 1Z :j <br />1\10�' ITEM DESCRIPTION' Proposed ordinance relating to liquor li'censes MGR X7 VI ED/RECOMME DS' <br />F-1 <br />The Council at its June 9. meeting established the June 23, meeting to conside <br />the proposed ordinance relating to liquor licenses. i <br />The staff has been working1with the City Attorney for the past several months ti <br />develop the revised ordinance and attached is a letter from the City Attorney <br />explaining some of the revisions, <br />i, The proposed ordinance deletes the requirement that the applicant, when <br />applying for renewal of a license, shall state the nature or amount of any <br />contribution he has made for campaign or political purposes. <br />The proposed ordinance was mailed to all current liquor licensees Tor their <br />review. They were invited to call with any questions and advised of the June 23, <br />Council meeting,, <br />Council Action Requested,: Motion adopti ' ng an ordinance repealing <br />Chapters 151 and 153 of the City Code of <br />the City of Roseville and adopting a new <br />chapter 151 dealing with liquor licenses and <br />wine licenses. <br />
