I OWN 0 <br />I HEN M H <br />MON ... .... .... xx x: rwa. <br />WWWWWWO 011010000 <br />The proposed joint powers agreement has now been approved by the City of Shoreview <br />ind is now presented for approval by the City of Roseville. <br />The agreement provides for: a ten member committee (five from each city); technical <br />assistance to be provided by the engineering firm of Short- El I i ott-Hendri ckson 4. <br />costs to be shared equally, but not to exceed $5,000; Roseville to serve as study <br />coordinator and administer expenditures; and final report is' due not later than <br />October 15, 1980* <br />Roseville appointed its five members to the Committee at its last regular Council <br />meeting. As of agenda preparation Shoreview had not appointed its five <br />members. Once Shoreview appoints its. five members, the Mayors of both cities <br />should call the first- roeeting of the joint committee. <br />Action Requested: Motion authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to <br />sign the Joint Powers Agreement with Shoreview to <br />investigate the sto m water drainage of Lake Owasso. <br />Also attached is the engineering proposal from Short-Elliott-Hendrl*ckson <br />relating to that firm's services to the Study Committee. If the joint powers <br />is approved, the following motion would be in order. <br />Motion authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to <br />sign the engineering agreement providing services <br />to the Joint Roseville/Shoreview Lake Owasso Storm <br />Water study committee., <br />
