<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members presents. Mayor Demos, Councilmen Curley, Anderson,
<br />Rehr and Franked
<br />A- I Kehr Moved, Franke Seconded, that the minutes of the regular
<br />MINUTES
<br />meeting of March 24, 1980, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Anderson, Kehr, Franke and Demos. Nays*, None,
<br />Anderson Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the special
<br />meeting of April 7. 1980, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Anderson, Kehr, Franke and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />Kehr Moved, Franke Seconded, that the Council join the Mayor in
<br />PROCLAMATION
<br />proclaiming April 20 - 26, 1980 as nnesota Volunteer Recogni-
<br />tion Week" in the City of Roseville. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Anderson, Kehrs Franke and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />I Anderson Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Resolution No. 6939 order-
<br />RESOLUTION
<br />ing the improvement of Skillman Avenue from Fairview Avenue to
<br />NO, 6939
<br />Snelling Avenue, identified as City Improvement P-79-2, and

<br />IMPROVEMENT
<br />authorizing the preparation of plans for this project be adopted;
<br />P-79-2
<br />and further that the City administration seek neighborhood input
<br />in studying the feasibility of a parallel pathway, and in conduct-
<br />ing post construction traffic control study; and further in accord-
<br />ance with MSA standards parking shall be prohibited on one side of
<br />the roadway, Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Anderson, Kehr, Franke and
<br />Demos, Nayse. None.
<br />Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, Inc. MUELLER-BIE9
<br />request for rezoning from R-1 to B-1, special use permit and FUNERAL HOME
<br />planned unit development at 475 Minnesota be approved with the
<br />following conditions:
<br />That if it is determined by the- City that additional
<br />parking is required, the applicant s-hall apply for an
<br />amended special use permit for planned unit developmen
<br />and the Planning Commiss.1on and City Council shall con
<br />duct hearings on the request. I
<br />��. That the use of the property be limited to a funeral home.
<br />3, That the width of the entrance driveway be increased
<br />18 feet,
<br />44' That the additional right-of-way required for the western
<br />portion of the circle of the cul de sac be dedicated by
<br />the applicant,
<br />Further, that Mueller-Bies request for vacation of right-of-way
<br />at 475 Minnesota be denied. Roll Call, Ayes., Curley, Kehr and
<br />Demos, Nays. Anderson and Franke. (Motion failed),
