Rather than move in this <br />direction, it would seem better that the board would provide its impetus into working <br />w ith the communities to improve the 1pvels of cooperation and coordination. Efforts <br />would be better. put to aiding the communities to develop master plans to be implemented <br />by the City with the board providi 9 ng overview and coordination., <br />The proposed date of the hearing for cities on these regulations is flovember 12, 1980, <br />)ue to publication problems, it appears that they will not be able to take final action <br />until December 10, 1980. It would seem appropriate to advise the Board of Managers of <br />4 t * <br />our posi ion on these matters and to attempt to work these out with them through a <br />committee that would include city representatives, <br />Recommended Council Action*, Adoption of a resolution indicating city <br />concerns with the rules and regulations <br />under review by the Rice Creek Board of <br />Md-nagers and authorizing the City Engineer <br />to attend the November 12, 1980 hearing <br />scheduled for that purpose, <br />
