HEAD APPROVAL., <br />1RTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS PUBLIC WORKS <br />The completion date for the study 'is the end of the year, so <br />the appropriate action would-be to receive the study and <br />transmit it to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency as per <br />the federal requirements. The study generally concludes that <br />excessive I & I does exist in the city, although not to the <br />large degree previously thought, It further concludes that <br />the elimination o f a good deal of the I& I water is not pro- <br />jected as being cost effective, There are, however, apparent <br />port ions of the I & I work that would he cost e f f ective to un- <br />dertake and these will he studied and brought hack to the council <br />in more detail for potential future actions <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion approving the acceptance of the <br />Roseville infiltration inflow analysis <br />report and instructing the city staff to <br />transmit this report to the Minnesota <br />Pollution Control.
