Administration - -- - ---------------- ---------- - - - - ----------------------------------------------------------------------- - -- ITEM DESCRIPTION' Volunteer Commission Appointments and Vacancies At its regular meeting of December 13, 1982, the Council Teviewed the eligibility for reappointment of Commission and Board members whose terms are to expire March 0. 312 1983, All were determined eligible., and have since been contacted regarding their desire to serve another term. The following is a list of those who wish to be reappointed: Brenda Thomas Human Rights Commission 4/l/83 - 3/31/81 Daniel Zielske Human Rights' Commission 4/1/83 - 3/31/8f Ray Hermann PaTks and Recreation Board 4/1/83 3/31/83-1 Maynard Kelsev d Parks and Recreation Board 4/1/83 3/31/8k This leaves three vacancies on the Planning Com-ission., since Carolyn Cushing,, George Johnson, and Mark Hastel have served the maximum of two, four-year terms, The Council may, at this time., make the appointments to the Human Rights Commission and the Parks and Recreation Board. The Council may also announce the three pending vacancies. The vacancies would then be announced in the January newsletter, with a 0 deadline of February 7, 1983, for accepting applications. The appointments would be made in March, The Counci 1 also reviewed -the cligiibi I ty of Robert Guy for reappointment' to the Police Civil Service Conmission. 11r. Guy was determined eligible, and. has been contacted to confirm his desire to serve another tem. His term. will run fron, 1-1-83 to 12-31-85.
