EXTRACTOFMfflUTESOFMEETfflG OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MfflNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the twenty-eighth day of April, 1997, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Wiski, Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke, and Wall and the following members were absent: None. Councilmember Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONS NO. 9405 RESOLUTION A W ARDfflG BID FOR 1997 CONTRACT B Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Wednesday, April 16, 1997, at 11 :00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER AMOUNT Central Landscaping T. A. Schifsky and Sons Ashbach Construction $956,709.67 $1,046,374.93 $1,134,897.50 WHEREAS, it appears that Central Landscaping of Forest Lake, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of$956,709.67; and WHEREAS, Project P-97-07 was deleted from the contract reducing the cost by $69,775.90; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Central Landscaping for $886,917.77 in the name of the City ofRoseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
