City of Roseville <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1423 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVEN, SECTION 703.04,TO EXEMPT PUBLICLY <br /> OWNED AND OPERATED PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITIES FROM DRIVEWAY WIDTH <br /> MAXIMUM REGULATIONS <br /> THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br /> SECTION 1: Title Seven, Section 703.04.B of the Roseville City Code is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> B. Standards For Driveways and Parking Lots: The following regulations shall apply to <br /> all driveways and aisles in parking lots: <br /> 1. Maximum Width: <br /> a. R-1 and R-2 Zones: For single-family and duplex principal structures within the R-1 <br /> and R-2 zones, the maximum width of any driveway at the property line shall be 26 feet. <br /> In addition to the maximum width, at each side of the driveway where the driveway <br /> intersects the street, three foot flares are permitted. The maximum driveway width for all <br /> other uses shall be 36 feet and 10 foot flares are permitted. <br /> b. All Other Zones: Except for the single-family and duplex principal structures, the <br /> maximum driveway width for all other types of properties shall be 36 feet as measured at <br /> the property line. In addition to the maximum width, at each side of the driveway for such <br /> property where the driveway intersects the street, 10 foot flares are permitted. <br /> c. Public Safety Facilities Exemption. These driveway maximum width regulations shall <br /> not apply to publicly owned and operated public safety facilities. <br /> SECTION 2: Effective date. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and <br /> publication. <br /> Passed by the City Council of the City of Roseville this 23rd day of January, 2012. <br />
