The variance <br />expired in January,, 1978 and was extended thmugh june 1, 1979, <br />Attached 'i's a letter frcm Northwestern College requesting another extension Of <br />the variance. They are presently const=tinq their on-canpus student housing <br />which should be ready for occupancy in the -fall of 19800 <br />It is the City Attorney's op_=56on that the Council could extend the variansm. <br />even thOugh it exPired in June., Although not legally reqdmd, the Comcil <br />could refer the extension request to the Planning Ccnrdssion for reccnmend- <br />ation, If the Council decides to approve the request at this tine, ,the <br />following notion is suggested. <br />�btion aPProving Northwestern College's request to <br />extend the variance which would permit five students <br />to reside in a two bedroom apartment at 281.5 thru <br />2845 Pascal Avenue until August 31,-1980. <br />
