EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the city Hall at 2660 civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the eighteenth day of December, 1989, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Johnson, Matson, Cushman, Kehr, and Rog and the following were absent: None. Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8524 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS, CITY PROJECT NO. P-SW-89-16, HAMLINE AVENUE FROM LARPENTEUR AVENUE TO COUNTY ROAD B WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the city council on August 28, 1989, the consulting engineer retained by Ramsey County for the purposes of preparing plans and specifications for the Hamline Avenue improvement, Maier Stewart and Associates of st. Paul has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of Hamline Avenue between Larpenteur Avenue and County Road B, and has presented such plans and specifications to the council for approval; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. Appropriate Ramsey County officials shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official city newspaper and other appropriate sources an advertisement for bid upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state the date, time, and place that bids will be opened, and the responsibility of the bidders will be considered by the Ramsey County Board at a regular meeting. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given the opportunity to address the County Board on the issue of responsibility. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Ramsey County Board and accompanied by the required bid security. 3. Appropriate city officials, including the City Engineer, Mayor, and City Manager, are authorized to sign the plans on behalf of the City of Roseville.
