REVIEWED/ RECOMMENDS'. <br />C Project 79-12 <br />X qw__� <br />the mosey County Migineering Repartmmt has now completed -the design work for <br />Lexington Avemie, including that portion fran County Road C to County Road D <br />As part of this project they will be constructing a storm drain. along Lexington <br />Avenue to sew both the roadway and the adj anent properties . - It W s e e ted - <br />that approximately $70,000,00 of City funds will be required for this non-roadway <br />portion of the drainage system. <br />In 1977, this potential preblem was anticipated and a. feasibJ jity study was authorized <br />for the entire Like Josephine drainage area from west of Hamline to east of Le ington . <br />Because of delays in awaiting the final decisions of the Rice Creek Watershed, this <br />study has not been able to move forward, however, With the on--coning lexingtm project, <br />it is new necessary d to undertake a piece of this storm water study that is associated <br />with the Lexington project. <br />it is, therefore, requested that a new authorization be given for a ' storm sir study <br />for the area near Lexington Ague and County Road Cr--2. since bounty load C-2 is <br />an NSA roadway and would potentially require being rebuilt for a short section as part <br />of the storm sir uark, it is further- wrested that the potential paving of this <br />portion of C-2 be included in the study,, <br />Council Action Requested; Adoption of a resolution ordering the <br />preparation of a feasibility report for <br />a storm drainage system to serge the area <br />of Lexington Avenue and County Road - <br />and the paving of a portion of Catty Road <br />C -2, east of Imdngton. This project is <br />identified as Iprov ent PST-79-12 • <br />
