AH n4PPROVAIL. <br />In the Police 1979 budget, funds were provided for the purchase of moviong <br />radar to replace an outdated model currently being used. When the funds <br />were requested, it was anticipated that State Highway Safety Funds would <br />be available to pay for 50% of the cost of this unitIA <br />Ae have now been advised that the State has bid these units and that we <br />are el-igible for participating in the program in which the State will pay <br />& A * <br />for 50%-of the cost. However, two (2) things are require.,,, <br />1. A cooperative purchasing agreement <br />(Council approved February 18, 1971) <br />2. A resolution authorizing the City Manager <br />to Sign a Grant Agreement for the purchase. <br />of moviong radar. <br />Therefore,, attached is a Resolution authorizing the.
