CITY OF FAO SEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE .CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />"M <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville is hereby <br />amti!nded by adding Section 237.030 to read as follows: <br />237.030. D ' isposal - of Unclairned Property. <br />The Chief of Police -is authorized to minis I.- e r <br />the disposal of property lawfully 11-y coming into <br />the possession of the City and remaining uncla'I <br />reed <br />by the owner after .60 day s. Disposal shall be <br />by sale to the highest bidder at public auction <br />or sale. A notice specifying the date, time., <br />and place of any auction or sale shall be <br />pliblished in a newspaper of general circDlation <br />L L to <br />throughout the City a' least one week prior t <br />such auct-ion or sale. The net proceeds of scale <br />shall be placed in the City's general fund, <br />subject to the right of the former owner to pair <br />- <br />mrrnt of the net proceeds upon application and <br />presentation of satisfactory proof of ownership <br />wjAC--hin six months of the sale.
