<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 04/25/05 <br />Minutes - Page 18 <br /> <br />One Mailed Notice of the Proposal and Information on How to <br />Appeal a Decision of the Variance Board at least 10 days prior to <br />the Hearing." <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Maschka, Schroeder, Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Twin Lakes Term Sheet <br />Councilmember Ihlan expressed concern that the documents <br />related to this item and the following were not received until <br />Friday evening, allowing the City Council limited time for <br />review of a complex document. <br /> <br />Ihlan moved, Kough seconded, tabling this item until a future <br />meeting to allow more review and consideration by the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br />Ayes: Ihlan and Kough. <br />Nays: Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing. <br />Motion failed. <br /> <br />Harlan Smith, 1706 Ryan Ave. <br />Mr. Smith opined that this issue was being "railroaded." <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing disagreed with Councilmember Ihlan' s <br />comments; opining that the term sheet provided more detail and <br />incorporated the comments of the City Council at the previous <br />meeting where they had initially reviewed the document. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Dennis Welsch introduced <br />the City's Development Attorney Jim Casserly and his Assistant, <br />Gay Reiter with Krass Monroe, for their review of the changes to <br />the document. <br /> <br />Further discussion ensued with Councilmember Ihlan reiterating <br />her concerns that the requested action was moving too quickly, <br />with City Council still needing to determine specific policy <br />issues; and Mayor Klausing reiterating the process to-date and <br />incremental steps outlined by the City Council previously, as <br />consistent throughout the review of the Twin Lakes <br /> <br />Resolution 10297 <br />Twin Lakes <br />Term Sh <br />
