Principal provi-sions which must be part of the C:Ll <br />ordinance are as follows: <br />The V.F.W. have requested peimission to tise certain type of ganblinc <br />.j devices (tip <br />board and ji le wheels) at one of their scheduled activities on May 21, at DL���s <br />E�each,, This would not be permitted under the statute, as those types of garrbling <br />devices are to be used on the premises of which they'awn or lease, Hcweverr raffle <br />a <br />tickets may be sold off such premises. <br />Th.e Police Chief has no objections to such an ordii=ce, but such activity will <br />requaxe close -attention by the police departn-ent <br />Ff the Comcil instructs an ordinance to be prepared, it is recamrended that the <br />ip <br />license fee for this activity be set at $100 (sanre- as a bingo license) <br />Action Pequested: Motion to instruct the City Attorney to prepare an <br />ordinance which would permit certain types of gambling devices. <br />
