MEETING <br />-,,,REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION DATE: 5 / 8/ 7 <br />of <br />Approximately 3 years ago, Ban Con buil-t a home on Grandview Avenue just east of <br />Matilda Street. The edge of the home was placed over an existin-9 sanitary and <br />storm sewer. <br />After considerable discussion, it has been agreed that the builders and land Sur- <br />veyor would pay the cost of re-routing the sewers to go around the home. and the <br />c ity would provide the engineerling and acquire a new easement to relocate this <br />pair of utilities. <br />A proposal was received from Deluxe Construction Company,-..who is doing four otherl <br />util'ity projects for the city at thi's time. The amount of - his bid was $16,830.00 <br />and it is recommended that Change Order No. I be added to thi-s agreement to affecl <br />the utilmity relocation. <br />AECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion approving Change Order t4o. I for the 1978 Improvements, <br />Contract R wl ' th Deluxe COnstruction Company in the amount of <br />$16,830.00 for utility relocation on Grandview Avenue. <br />
