ACTION REQUESTED: <br />PLANNING CONSIDERATIONS-, <br />iK49W*P <br />Poppin Fresh Pie.* <br />Between Highway 36 Service Road 'and <br />West Perimeter Driver (west of Midwest <br />Federal, and Denny's Restaurant) <br />F,lipproval of Revision to Site Plan <br />1. The property in question is B-IB which provides for a Special Use Permit <br />for approval of the site plan. This was accompilshed before the present <br />restaurant was built-but the applicant now proposes to revise the site <br />plan to accomplish two things: <br />q, <br />To increase the parking capacity by adding parking in <br />the area in front of the building. <br />L- <br />To provide a walk-way from the northerly parking area <br />to the building entrance at.the southwest corner. <br />2. The applicants have found that business has been so good that they have <br />inadequate parking space for the property. They therefore_ propose to tj <br />expand the parking capacity to a total of 98 cars, The parking capaci <br />as originally approved was for 80 cars. <br />3. They are also revising the arrangement of the parking slightly on the <br />northerly side of the build-iong. Admi'nstrative approval was given for <br />this change which involved the increase of the size of the island, and <br />the construction of the walkway in this area and placing of th-e parkinks <br />up against the westerly side of the property. *mo <br />I <br />The staff felt, however, that the change involving the addition of the <br />parking in front of the building was a substantial change and therefore <br />required the review of the Planning Commission and Councial as required <br />in the B-IB District'. <br />
