<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 15th day of December, 2003, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Maschka, Klausing, Schroeder, <br />Kysylyczyn <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10170 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 20 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D4 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR DAN NORRIS <br />1547 SEXTANT AVENUE (PF3541). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dan Norris has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D4 of the <br />Roseville City Code to allow the construction of an attached garage on to the west side of his <br />existing home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Norris parcel is located at 1547 Sextant Avenue, and legally described <br /> <br />as: <br /> <br />That part of Lot 4, Block 4, Verde Haven, described as follows: beginning at the <br />Northeast corner of said Lot 4 thence in a Southerly direction to a point on the <br />south line of said lot, 10 feet Southwesterly from the Southeast corner of said lot,' <br />thence along the South line of said lot,' 10 feet to the Southeast corner thereof; <br />thence North along the East line of said lot to the place of beginning. Lot 5, Block <br />4, Verde Haven, subject to restrictions contained in document no. 329674. Covers <br />lot 5. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D4 reads: "A side yard adjacent to a street an a corner lot <br />shall not be less than 30 feet"; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Norris seeks approyal to encroach 22 feet into the required setback <br />adjacent a public street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Norris request on December 3, 2003, recommending (7-0) approval of a 20 foot VARIANCE to <br />Section 1004.02D4 of the Roseville City Code, based on the findings of Section 5 and conditions <br />of Section 6 of the project report dated December 3, 2003; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE a <br />20 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D4 of the Roseville City Code for Dan Norris, 1547 <br />Sextant Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
