<br />WHEREAS, such indication is a requirement of the National Incident Management System <br />(NIMS) and the National Response Plan which is the template for all jurisdictions in the United <br />States; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, adoption of the all-hazard Emergency Operations Plan will make the municipalities <br />and the County eligible to receive Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMGP) grants; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Countywide Emergency Operations Plan has been certified as meeting or <br />exceeding all standards for emergency planning by the State of Minnesota Department of Public <br />Safety, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management for Ramsey County and for <br />any jurisdiction within Ramsey County that chooses to adopt this plan as their municipal <br />Emergency Operations Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this resolution does not preclude the City of Roseville, Minnesota from preparing <br />its own plan in the future should it desire to do so; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville, Minnesota supports <br />the county-wide all-hazard Emergency Operations Plan development effort, and, be it further <br /> <br />RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville, Minnesota hereby adopts this Countywide Emergency <br />Operations Plan as the Emergency Operations Plan for the city, and, be it further <br /> <br />RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville, Minnesota requests that the Ramsey County Division of <br />Emergency Management and Homeland Security coordinate all-hazard Emergency Operations <br />Plan development and maintenance efforts for the City of Roseville, Minnesota in the future. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member <br />Kough, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan <br />Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, and Klausing <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: none. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
