The comment period for the 60 -day review process ended on Thursday September 15, <br />2011. As the Board is aware, documentation of the Response -to- Comments has been broken into two <br />parts: (1) response to comments received on the Implementation Activity to test the impact of establishing <br />a no -wake zone on the shallow portions of Lake Owasso (dated September 19, 2011); and (2) all other <br />comments received on the Plan. <br />This memorandum describes all of the other comments received on the Plan, the approach FOR plans on <br />taking to respond to these comments, the schedule for developing a draft Response -to- Comments <br />document and a request that the GLWMO consider providing additional funding to respond to all of the <br />comments. <br />Description of all the other Comments Received <br />In addition to the comments received on the Implementation Activity to test the impact of establishing a <br />no -wake zone on the shallow portions of Lake Owasso, the GLWMO received comments from the <br />following review agencies, member communities, Board members, the Lake Owasso Homeowners <br />Association and residents of the watershed: <br />- Metropolitan Council <br />- BWSR <br />- Ramsey County <br />- MPCA <br />- MNDNR <br />- City of Roseville <br />- City of Shoreview <br />- Karen Eckman ( GLWMO Commissioner) <br />- Lake Owasso Homeowners Association <br />Edward Roberts (resident) <br />- Jill Roberts (resident) <br />- Alex Elder (resident) <br />Daniel Kelsey (resident) <br />Judith Wood (resident) <br />- Len Ferrington <br />- Michael Malvey (resident) <br />Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc. water I ecology I community <br />
