<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, April 11, 2005 at 7:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, and Klausing <br />and the following were absent:. None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 10288 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ATTACHED CONTRACT FOR <br />WATER SERVICES BETWEEN THE BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS <br />AND THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR AND MANAGER TO SIGN SAID CONTRACT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, Minnesota, has purchased wholesale water from the Board of <br />Water Commissioners of the City ofSt. Paul for 42 years; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the most recent agreement expired on May 24, 2004; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the City ofRoseville and the Board of Water Commissioners have an interest in <br />continuing their relationship; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the City of Roseville and the Board of Water Commissioners have agreed upon a <br />new 20-year contract; <br /> <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Mimlesota, that the <br />Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to <br />execute and enter into a contract with the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of St. Paul <br />prescribing the terms and conditions for the purchase of water services, a copy of which said <br />agreement was before the City Council and which is made a part hereof by reference. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption ofthe foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Kough <br /> <br />upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan, Mascllka, Schroeder, <br />Kough, and Klausing <br />and the following voted against the same: none. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
