<br />Funds <br />In 2000, the Housing Fund includes a budget of $ 740,500 and is <br />distributed to the following categories of activities as outlined in the <br />Housing Plan. This did not include the restricted funds available <br />through the CDBG and Local Development Corporation which were <br />estimated to be approximately $300,000. <br /> <br />Housing Rehab Loan Programs - $100,000 <br />Technical Assistance Program (HRC) - $37,000 <br />Housing Replacement Program - $255,000 <br />Home & Garden Fair - $6,000 <br />Rental Rehab Program - $60,000 <br />Rambler Redesign - $18,000 <br />Design Book - $5,000 <br />Borders & Buffer Program - $50,000 <br />First Time Homebuyer Program - $5,000 <br />Senior Housing - $200,000 <br /> <br />Funds <br />In 2005, The HRA budget includes a total of $434,319 and is <br />currently distributed to the following category of activities as <br />outlined in the Housing Plan. The HRA also combined the <br />restricted funds available through the CDBG and Local <br />Development Corporation which has a balance of $430,500. <br /> <br />Ownership Rehab Loans - $100,000 <br />Technical Assistance (HRC) - $47,000 <br />Housing Replacement Program - $170,000 <br />Home & Garden Fair - $10,200 <br />Multi- Family Rehab - $241,500 <br />Housing Redesign - $18,000 <br />First Time Homebuyer - $23,700 <br />Neighborhood Improvement - $10,000 <br />Marketing/Demographic Studies - $15,000 <br />Administration - $62,800 <br />Reserves\Contingency - $173, 619 <br /> <br />Note: The HRA has commissioned a subcommittee consisting of <br />three HRA members to review the budget allocations, programs and <br />long term funding strategy. The adopted budget allocations for <br />2005 are subject to revision as part of this evaluation process to <br />provide dollars to programs that generate the best retum on <br />investment and clearly meet the objectives of the housing plan. <br /> <br />12 <br />
