Process- <br />• Landowners will contact GLWMO designated first -point of contact <br />(administrator) <br />• Administrator will catalog call for assistance and forward request to designated <br />site assessment resource (RCD staff or other consulting resource) <br />• Site assessment resource will visit site and discuss opportunities with landowner <br />discussing specific solutions to problems and possible BMPs and their associated <br />costs with landowner (up to 2 hours of technical service time at no cost to the <br />landowner). <br />• If landowner is committed to proceed with constructing and maintaining BMP(s), <br />landowner contacts GLWMO and enters into a contract with GLWMO to <br />reimburse landowner for project design costs and BMW construction costs per <br />GLWMO established rates. Note: site design shall be completed by either RCD of <br />other GLWMO approved consultant. <br />• Reimbursement is made after successful project completion. <br />Audience /Partnerships: <br />City property, County property, State property, businesses, residential property owners, <br />schools and churches. <br />Outcome: <br />• Instituting permanent changes to the urbanized watershed whereby stormwater <br />runoff will no longer flow via storm sewer management system to a receiving <br />water body but will instead infiltrate into the groundwater system under normal <br />precipitation events. <br />• Landowners will be aware that how they manage their land affects lake water <br />quality. Landowners are knowledgeable of how to minimize their impacts on <br />water quality through the use of BMPs. <br />• All lake shoreline has at least 20 feet of riparian buffer width and all lake <br />shoreline is stabilized from the erosive force of wind, water, and wave action. <br />Typical Range o, f Funding per year: <br />$45,000 per year BMP installation cost share incentive <br />$15,500 per year Technical services support services <br />Total $60,500 <br />
