City Council-,, City of Roseville <br />November 10, 1977 <br />Page Two <br />5. The Metropolitan Counc-i'l staff has offered to the Metropol itan Council the <br />alternative of: <br />q <br />a. Keeping the criteria the same based on the 1970 analysi's with nt <br />change in the list of' developed connunities; or <br />believe that consider-able emphasis in government programs and funding <br />will be. placed on communities classified as developed caflmunities. Not <br />only is this- a discernable trend i-n our Metropolitan Area but in our nation <br />as a whole. We therefore, conclude that it would be advantageous for the <br />City of Roseville to be classified as a developed community. <br />8. The Physical Development Commi.ttee will be conducting a public hearing on <br />this issue and other amendments to the Development Framework on November 17, <br />1977. We recormiend that the City Council adopt a resolution endorsing the <br />reclassification of the City of Roseville as a developed comilunity as <br />proposed in Alternative 2 of the Metropol itan Council staff report. <br />
