This loi;fronts an Lake Josep}ii�e and, therefor�, falls inta the city's code of Shoreline hlanage- ment Ordinance Sec. 93. 7he �i5hers �re planning to buiid a house on the now vacant lot, imariediately to the west of 12b5 Josephine Road. A cottage, Hrhich formerly occupied this loi, has been removed in preparation for tt�e propose� construction. This cattage had been connected and served from the sewer service that serves the :�house at 12b5 Josephine Road. It is a violatior. of the city code to F�ave two hauses connectied inio on� sewer service and, a7though the owners have indicated that they intend to ins�all a lift station and construct their own sewer service, the council may wish to make tnis a candition of the permit. hir. Dafilgren has reviewed th� situation and feels that the proposed ap�lzcation is wi�hin the intent of the shoreline ardinance. The applicants have stated that they do not intend to remove any of the existing oak trees on the site, nor do they �ntend to do any major grading. 7he new honte is proposed to be 92 fe�t back from the high water mark af tiie shore, wi�ich is 17 feet in excess of th� requi red 75--foot rr�i nimum.
