We met with Mr. Gar7ey approximately two weeks ago, at which time we <br />discussed his proposal to be ex�mpt i`rom the reQUirer�ent of bui�ding the <br />sidewa7k a�ong County Road C(on the south side of his apartment project). <br />4ie sugc�ested t�at the sidewalk could be built along the north side of <br />�he rig�t-of-way leading over the school grounds, and Ultimately ta <br />Vicioria Avenue rather than going across the bridge at Couniy Road C and <br />the railroad. Such a system would supp1ement �he bikeway on the south <br />side of County Road C which goes along �f�e north edge of Central Park over <br />to Victoria Avenue. <br />2. U1ith this concept in mind, Mr. Garley has requested �hat his application <br />for exemption from the requirement be wi-�hdrawn. This matter, is therefore <br />settled without any ehange in our sidewalk consiruction policy. <br />
