They, therefore, prepared preXxminaxy plans ehat <br />�aould upgraae thi.s section of roadway, They are requesting that these pre-• <br />Limiaary plans be revie�aed by the city and approved so that they might proceed <br />with the detail design of the facilityo <br />The existi.ng facility uaries from two l.anes wi.th gravel shoulders to foar <br />lanes witn curb and �utter. The work i.s proposed to begin a� Aelmont Avenue, <br />whi.ch z.s half-way betUfeen Transit Avenue and Wewers Road, and proceed <br />nor�herly �o X-694o The predominan� design is to have a 13-faot center <br />left-turn section, a 12-foot lane in each direction to carry traffic, and <br />an 8-fooC emergency stop lane pl�s curb and gutter.
