REVIEWEp/RECOMMENDS: <br />On May l7, ]976, the Council approved a final plat, Duddlestons Lakeview, which <br />in effect, was a replatting af the Nerbst Addition. At that time, the street <br />that was previously dedicated was a]so vacated. The Ramsey County Alat Commi- <br />sion has reviewed the fina] plat and four�d two easements which they =feel are no <br />]onyer needed, due to the replattinq and requested the city staff to investigate. <br />The easements in question are: <br />1} A 10-faot utiiity easement which went around the per�phery oi` <br />the street. The purpose of this easement was for the p7ac�roent of <br />underground utilities, namely, telephone and ei�ctric cables. Since <br />this street is being vacated, and the te3ephone and electric utilities <br />will be brougi�t ta the new four 7o�s individua]iy fram South Owasso <br />Boulevard, this easement is na longer needed. � <br />2) The ci�y also has a drainage easement previous3y dedicated. That <br />drainage easerr�ent is over what was Qutlot A Af Herbst Addition plat; <br />�n the new rep�a.tting, a new drainage easement�was dedicated elimi�a- <br />ting the necessity of the old easement, wh�ch now can be vacated. <br />RECOMMENDED ACTI�N: A resol�tion vacating the ten-foot utility easement that is <br />" contigu�us t� the de�icated street, Turnstone Goart of the <br />Herbst Addition, and the vacation of �he drainage easement <br />over Out�at A in Merbst- Piddi�f.nn. � <br />
