Moretiini for <br />the place�nent of perforated drain pipe at the most westerly railroad crosszng <br />on Terminal Road. Problems #�ad been experienced yearly at ti�is crossing in <br />ti�e w3 nter� and soi 1 tests showed ttiat the rai iway road bed was acti ng as a <br />reservair for vlater that eventualiy tivarked into the clay d�en under the raad��ray <br />itseif. In win�er, t��is v�ater froze in the clay and caused frost i�eave on <br />eitner side of t�e tracks. �dhen this nappened, tf�e roadway rose while th� <br />tracks s�ayec! at tne sai�e eievatian causing a large bum� tifiich was very un-- <br />camfortab�e to drive aver a�i� was break�ng the Springs of trucks as they avent <br />over it.
