REViEWEp/RECOMMENDS: <br />On Sept. 15, 19i6, the council passed a resolution ordering a feas�bility stud.y <br />for a vacant parcel of land just south of County Raad D, down to [3renr�er Avenue, <br />following rec�ipt of a petition from the property owner, ihat feasibility stud.y <br />included storm drainage, as well as the san��ary seti,rer, water and street con- <br />str�ction. Since thai time, considerable effort has been s�ent in determininq <br />an appropriate m�ans to serve that area �lith proper drainage faczlities, Unfor- <br />tunately, there are no good solutions which on�,y affect the petition area. <br />It is, �herefore, necessary �o looic at a iarqer s_ysiem to not on�y take care of <br />this small area, but also the area roughl,y bounded b,y County Road p on the norih, <br />35W on t�e west, Countv �aad C-2 an the south and approximateiy the location of <br />Prior Avenue on the east. Due to �roblems of res�ric�ed outflow capacity, it is <br />necessary to des�gn the proper faci7ities to handle this larger area ali at one <br />t�me. <br />Anoiher recent develapment that affects this situatian is the feasibility s�ud.y <br />ordered by the.cauncil last week for the Langdon Lake subdrainac�e area, The <br />proposed ou�let for the Langdan Lake faci�iiy is the new�facility that wouid be <br />needed in the Cleve7ar�d-Brenner dra�nage area. <br />It �s, tt�er�fore, requested ihat the staff be authorized to undertake a feasibi- <br />Iity s.tudy for the above_named area identified as the Cleveland-6renner drainage <br />area and tentative��y assigned Project S7-76-8. The feasibilitv study for t1�is <br />drainag� area could then-be presented and revi�wed at the same time that the <br />Evelyn road construction is revieY�ed to provide overall information for decisior� <br />making. <br />RECONl��1EP�DED ACl'TOtd: Adoptian of a resolution authorizing the city staff to un- <br />dertake a feasibiiity st�dy for storm drainaqe in ar� area <br />of approximately 12Q acres, identified as the Cieveland- <br />arenner dra� nage area carry� ng �roject tJo.
