REVIEWED/RECOAAMEiVDS: <br />The Cowicil at its September 15, meeting referred th,e mattex- a£ ta�c forfeited property <br />ta the Parks � Recreation Committee for recorrrfmmendation regarding the property�s use as <br />park 1.and. (A�tached is a J.ist af the three tax forfei�ed parcels and maps showing <br />tfieir 1oca�ion}. <br />The Recreation CAmrnittee has reco�ended �hat the City acquire the property listec� as <br />Parcels 1 and 3. The Co�nni.ttee also reca�nend5 �hat Parcel #2 nat be acquired as it <br />would require too nnzch £i11 to be usable. <br />Attached. a�e t�+ro xesa�utions. Resolutzon "A" ca11s for the acquisition of the two parcels <br />as recammended by the Recreation Carr�nittee. Resolutian "B" would permit the saZe o£ the <br />paxcel which the Recreatian Committee recominene� na� be acquired. <br />Should the Council dec�de to acquire ar not acquire different parcels than rec�tmend�d <br />by the Recreation Co�mnittee, the staff shnuld be i.nstxucted to prepare the appxQpxiate <br />resalutions for the next Council. meeting. <br />If the Council c�ecides to approve the recommendations of the Recreatian Co�ittee, �he <br />fallow�.ng motions are suggested: <br />1. Mation adopti.ng resolution providing �ar the acQuisi�ion <br />o£ certain tax forfeited property by the City of Roseville. <br />2. N�tion adopting r�solution providing for the sale of cer�ain <br />tax fozfeited property. <br />
