Brennan is a�so a rrrernber af the Baard of Directors <br />o� the Association of Netropalitan i��.micipalities . <br />Councilman Brennan is resigning from the Board af Directors and is rec{uasting that the <br />Cozmcii appoint a del.egate �a represent the City within the activities of the Association <br />of Metropol.itan �'aanicipali�ies. The resigna�zon is submitted at this ti.nte so that the <br />new delegate could becam�; involved before or as soon after the legislative session bsgi.ns. <br />7t is alsa lilcely thati the Council wauld wish to nominate that delegate to senre on the <br />Board of Dixectors. <br />The process far fi.11ing the vacancy on the Board of Direc�ors is as follows: <br />1. The resignation would be accepted at a regulax �aard A'leeting (n�xt meeting <br />Decembex 8). The Baard would. then advise member municipaXitzes tha� a <br />vacancy exists and ask £or nami.nat�ans ta be stxbmi�ted at the next xe�lar <br />raeeting (probably the firsti half of January) . <br />2. The Board af Direc�ors makes the appointment to f�ll. the vacant seat. <br />Appropriate action woteld be to appoint a de�egate to represent the City in meetings <br />and business of the Associatiori of Metropolitan A4unicipalities, and also to nominate <br />�hati person to serv� on the Baard of Directors. <br />
