The Recreation Co�uaittee has revi�wed the applicatian. They indicate tha� although the property �s included in its long range acquisition plar�s, there ar� pxesently nc� fim,ds available for i�s purchase. See attached memo from the Parks � Recreation Directox. In a�di��an, it is the Recreation Co�n�ttee's recommendatzon tha� if a wal,kcvay easement arvun� fhe pand ctiuld be obtained, that 'they would like 'to see the pond dedica�ed �o �he City. However, if the walkway easement is not ab�ained, ihey would recoiruttend.that �he pond not b� dedicated �a �he Czty. Tf �he Council should decide that the pond not be dedicated to the Gity, ihe Fubli.c Wox-ks Director-recommends that a.n easement be includ.ed in the final plat for purposes of stor�i water poncling and puxifzcation.
