The applicant agreed ta this suggestzan and the Co�tission continued the hearang to the nex�t meetin.g. �lt the August 6, Planning Conunission meeting Mr. Schulze repoxted that �he Co�or Ti1e Company had agreed to pern�it the Sound of M�zsic s�gn to be placed on their existing pylon sign. Because of this the variance to setback is no 3.anger required. However, Mr. Schu3.ze iadicated that he thought a vari.ance to sign height and/or size may be necessary. Because ___ fihe hearing notice con�ained. ox�y a reques� £or variance to sign setback, the Plannixzg Commission could not cansider any heig�xt or size variances at this- time. The Planning Co�nnission then reco�end�d approval af Mr. Schulze's request to with- draw his application for variance ia sign setback at 2I09 Snell�ng Aven.u� and further reco�ended that the $50 application fee be reimbursed. It was the Planning Commission�s feeling that since �th�e�� had suggested the Ap�Iican-t a�tempt to place the sign on the existing pylon that t e fee should be reimbursec�. Under normal circvmstances, because the cost of ma.iling the notices has already been incuxrea, the fee would n.ot be reimbursed. However, because of the somewhat unusual circ�nstan�c�s surroi.u�.ding the recEuest, the Co�ci1 may desire to award �the reimbuxse- ment. The applicant has been advised tha� if he �inds that a'variance is needed to sign height, and/ax size � that he �nr�.s�make a new applica.tion for the varzance.
